Who I Am
Share with us the world you come from (for example, your family, school, community, city, or town). What unique experiences from your world motivated you to apply to our program?
Without a doubt, business will be the incubator by which I revolutionize the world. I have a lifelong mission of becoming a “visionary leader”, on becoming an entrepreneur who works for the greater good. I am certain that business is my destiny, having made high school my playground. I experimented with opportunities from a multitude of fields. (i.e. launching a clothing brand (Enclothed.co), learning valuable skills (hordenhuang.com). Above all, I met great people. Over the summer, I crossed paths with a man named Kalei. He was my mentor during my law internship, with our start being confusing, due to my ignorance of the mentor-protégé dynamic. He would enlighten me with clarity and wisdom on life’s challenges, while I offered unique perspectives. He is one of my best friends to this day. I am certain that the coherent and close mentoring will be something akin to this experience, helping me learn while providing value. I have given myself half a decade to attain success, backing it with a desire for the accumulation of skills. Within the past few years, I have grown at a speed that astonishes my parents. I am grateful to come from a loving family, with my parents cheering me on for any journey I desire. I plan to make them proud. Every new year becomes the start of my best year, for my daily actions create a compound effect that guarantees success. I act with my boats burned, for I realize the relation between urgency and idea. Action is what separates the extraordinary from the regulars, which is why the gap between mine is mere hours. (i.e. ordering blanks and hiring a designer for my clothing brand, within a few hours from actualization). I hope you may find my journey worthy of consideration, which is why I'm requesting the opportunity to be interviewed. I believe that the best way to judge a person’s character is face to face, considering that 90% of communication and disposition are spoken via nonverbal cues. I look forward to enrolling at your school.
