Why me

Beyond what has already been shared in your application, what do you believe makes you a strong candidate?

I know that my disposition and perspective on life makes me THE candidate. I am absolutely optimistic about my future, prepared to face and conquer any challenges presented to me. I hold a student mindset to this journey of what we call "life", learning from every failure as they are only lessons wrapped in embarrassment. I have a vision that I hold true to this day, that one day, I will have made a sizable difference in the world. I'm not talking about thousands, or millions, but billions. This may seem very grand, but it's not impossible. I plan to achieve this through sharing my journey, as an inspiration that dreams are just big goals. My life will serve as an authentic documentation, and I am willing to die trying on this path where I call greatness. In line with this, I attempt something new once a month, giving me a sense of the sublime. Surmounting Mount Everest is one of them, a task feared by many, but I will do it. I have ment many phenomenal people along the way, from meeting a startup founder at my first Muay Thai class (yondu.ai) to a software engineer at jiu-jitsu. Whenever I try something new, my friends join me or I meet fascinating individuals along the way, making my journey even more phenomenal. I started documenting my journey on youtube, but that came after contemplating what other people would think of me for a year. When I posted my first video, I stared at the publish button for a solid 10 minutes, weighing in if this was worth the risk. Absolute embarrassment or Success. I decided to take the risk, and now I live with the fruits, from having a personal brand. It's a beauty to see where sharing your struggles, while remaining authentic, can attract opportunities and people your way. I can see my improvement through every video, and looking back, the times I struggled were the most beautiful. I am confident that this university will be the fertile ground where I continue to thrive and push my limits.
